Casting Off
The Moving Pictures come to the canal…
Introducing a new feature of the blog; the travelogue footage!
These film clips are edited segments of the journey home; with no narration and the engine din turned down a little bit. They offer a brief bit of calm for you, a kind of boat’s eye view of the trip as it unfolds.
This is a test film, around 20 minutes in length and made of sections of the lower Bridgewater Canal and the top of the Trent and Mersey Canal down to Bartington Village in Cheshire. The weather was gorgeous, and the cut was quiet. It’s a lovely little bit of the world so only fair that I share it with you.
These films will soon feature more cameras in combination, taking in a wider vista as we go. As time goes on they will become embedded in the general blog for paid subscribers, for now though you all get to see some summer greenery as it slides by.
Thanks for following, for engaging with the project and journey, and for your support!
